Both Aubrey and I grew up riding horses, and have always enjoyed trail riding. After listening to older coonhunters talk
about hunting off of mules, Aubrey decided that maybe it was time to give it a try, since he isn't getting any younger, and
the hills around here aren't getting any flatter. So that is how we made the switch from horses to mules, and we now wouldn't
be without them. We really like mules and don't find them "stubborn" as most people believe, but rather, thoughtful.
They are very athletic and sure-footed, which is essential in this kind of terrain. The whole family enjoys trail riding,
and Aubrey uses them for hunting pretty extensively during season.
